Stark unmasked in "The Hidden Memory"
Stark at the end of The Peacekeeper Wars
Stark is a member of Moya's crew on Farscape. A former Banik slave, he is of the breed Stykera and thus has the power to ease other people's suffering and pass dying individuals over to the other side. He is somewhat mentally unstable, due in part to his enslavement, torture, and the psychological effects of his Stykera abilities.
Stark once lived on Katratzi, assisting the Scarrans with their death rituals. He was later captured by the Peacekeepers and imprisoned at Scorpius' Gammak Base, where he was repeatedly subjected to the Aurora Chair in an effort to extract information about Crystherium Utilia. He later escapes with aid from John Crichton and the Moya crew.
After borrowing a transport pod and going on his own way, Stark rejoins the crew in season two's "The Locket," having discovered a cargo ship full of Banik slaves, which includes D'Argo's son Jothee. In "The Ugly Truth," Stark falsely confesses a crime to the Plokavians, knowing he can survive the execution method of molecular dispersal. He reverts to a non-corporeal form and his energy endures, reuniting with the crew two episodes later unharmed.
Stark grows intimate with Zhaan over the series, and her death in season three destabilizes his mind even further. In "The Choice," Stark stays behind on Valldon, claiming he can hear Zhaan's voice calling out to him. Stark returns once more in the final episodes of season four, where he is taken to Katratzi and replaced with a bioloid that tortures Scorpius. The real Stark is freed by Rygel and Noranti and rejoins the Moya crew.
When Yondalao is killed in Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars, Stark absorbs the Eideon knowledge of Hora Dalay and passes it to the Qujagans. The process finally brings him internal peace, and he removes his mask to show the Stykera light is gone. Following the signing of the Peacekeeper/Scarran treaty, Stark brings the Eidelons to Delvia and becomes an envoy. He later facilitates the combining of Hora Dalay and Delvian Dej-Wah to defeat the Kkore.
