"Pike" is the nickname John Crichton gives to one of Moya's DRDs on Farscape.

In the episode "Losing Time," a parasitic Energy Rider has infected the Moya crew, causing them to black out. To uncover the cause, Crichton sets up a DRD to record them.

Later, another Rider named Tallip infects Pilot, cutting off communication between the crew and Moya. Because DRDs are directly linked to Moya, Crichton grabs the same one he used earlier and instructs it to answer questions by blinking once for "yes" and twice for "no." He gives it the name "Pike."

Through Pike, Moya leads Crichton and Chiana to her Starburst chamber. With Pike's help, Chiana initializes Starburst to prevent Tallip from infecting Moya. Chiana escapes the chamber just in time, but Pike is not so lucky, and it perishes during Starburst.

• Pike is named after the Star Trek character Christopher Pike, who, after an accident, could only communicate through a light on his wheelchair.
