Sub-Officer Dacon is a Peacekeeper who appears in the Farscape episode "...Different Destinations."

When the Moya crew arrive at the Jocacean Memorial, Aeryn Sun lauds Dacon as one of the Peacekeepers' greatest heroes. Among other feats, Dacon apparently initiated the peace process between the Venek Horde and the Jocacean nurses as he died. Jool claims this is just Peacekeeper propaganda.

However, when the crew travel back in time to the events of the battle, it is revealed that Dacon's achievements were greatly exaggerated. In actuality, Dacon is his unit's Comm Supervisor and Sustenance Preparer; a cook, not a soldier. Officer Tarn gave credit to Dacon for many of his own deeds.

Crichton believes that Dacon still must die in order to preserve the timeline, though Aeryn thinks Dacon can be saved. Following the death of General Grynes, Dacon records a message offering the Veneks unconditional surrender to avoid more bloodshed. He prepares to send the message via throwing spear, but Aeryn objects, telling him that he could get hurt by exposing himself to the Veneks' fire.

Despite her objections, Dacon throws the message over the wall. The Veneks fire at Dacon, killing him. Dacon's death doesn't fix the timeline, and the Veneks end up brutally murdering the Jocacean nurses.
