Warren Buffett (b. 1930) is a business magnate, investor, and philanthropist. When the Bloomberg Billionaires Index was first published, he ranked as the third richest person in the world and has remained in the top ten since then. Through his philanthropy work, Buffet has pledged to donate 99% of his net worth to various charities.
Buffett is often cited in popular culture for his immense wealth and has appeared as himself in a number of movies and TV shows including Entourage (with Adrian Grenier), Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (with Susan Sarandon), The Office, and The Apprentice. He also voiced U.S. President James Madison for the animated PBS series Liberty's Kids.
