Lieutenant Tam Velorek is a Peacekeeper officer who appears, via flashbacks, in the Farscape episode "The Way We Weren't."

Velorek is under the command of Captain Bialar Crais, assigned to Crais' project of impregnating a Leviathan with a gunship. Moya's first Pilot is uncooperative, so he replaces her with a younger Pilot. He has a limited amount of time to bond the new Pilot with Moya, resulting in a forced bond, leaving Pilot in unrelenting pain. Despite this, Velorek treats Pilot with respect and compassion.

During his time on Moya, Velorek meets, and falls in love with, Aeryn Sun. However, Velorek's compassion for Pilot and Moya puts him at odds with Crais, who Velorek believes is a madman. Velorek confides in Aeryn about how he plans on sabotaging Crais' project, but she turns him in, and Crais arrests Velorek.

Velorek never tells the Peacekeepers what he did, but it is revealed that he installed a shield to prevent conception; the same shield D'Argo accidently damages in "They've Got a Secret," allowing Moya to become pregnant with Talyn.

He returns in the Farscape comic "Tangled Roots" story arc, in which it is shown that Crais sent him to the planet Prybella. His first name is given as "Tam" in the issue "Refractions of the Way Life Used to Be."
