Key, far back and directly behind Elmo
Tim Key (b. 1976) is an English comedian and writer.
While promoting the film The Ballad of Wallis Island at SXSW in 2025, which he co-wrote and starred in, Key and his fellow cast members were photographed with Elmo.
Beginning in 2010, Key played Sidekick Simon alongside Steve Coogan's Alan Partridge in several media. His other work includes appearaces on such shows as Skins, Inside No. 9, Plebs, Peep Show, Taskmaster, and Richard Osman's House of Games. Key's film credits include One Day (with Anne Hathaway), The Double (directed by Richard Ayoade), and Mickey 17 (with Mark Ruffalo).
