Research and Development are a pair of Doozer scientists from Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. They have a habit of reminding everybody what their names are (especially Development), and the Architect finds them to be super smart-looking.

First appearing in the episode "The Repeatee Birds," the duo are called upon by Measure Doozer to figure out the durability of strawberries and if they can aid in the construction of Doozer sticks. Their methods include pressure tests, which result in coating Wrench and Turbo's splash suits with strawberry juice. The test also proves that strawberries are delicious.

They later make a cameo in the episode "This for That," observing the Fraggles exchanging strawberries for services and believing that work is enough of a reward for them.
