The Next Generation Captain starred in "Spaceship Surprise: The Next Generation."

Like the original captain, he loves surprises and throws confetti (directly towards the officer) every time he mentions the word on board. Although he doesn't regularly cower in fear at incoming surprises, he initially ducks when greeted by Hopalong Hamster on the Planet H.

The captain is a direct parody of Patrick Stewart's character Jean-Luc Picard.
