The Magic Book appears in the Little Muppet Monsters episode "The Great Boodini."

Over 500 years old, the book is discovered by Boo Monster in a trunk in the basement. To everyone's surprise, the book is able to speak and perform magic tricks on its own. When Boo decides to take up magic, he finds some simple spells the book has to offer. But, when he tries even bigger tricks, they start to go awry. Once everything is back to normal, the book reminds Boo that certain things take practice and a lot of hard work to perfect, even magic.
