Kate is a human character who appeared on Sesame Street during Season 4, first appearing in Episode 0439. An older woman, she played the guitar and sang, most often for the kids but also had duets with Grover and Maria, with Big Bird occasionally joining along. With the exception of Episode 0521, she performed at least one song during her appearances.
