Jones is a Whatnot Muppet featured in several Muppet Meeting Films. The puppet (performed by David Rudman) debuted in the 1992 entry "Executive's Island," in which he played the role of "Jones," a frantic boat spotter whose pleas to send SOS messages are ignored.

The puppet also appears in "The Meeting That Would Not Die," (again performed by Rudman) as one of the employees held captive by a never-ending meeting.

The puppet would go on to be used as "Plattner" in "Now Hear This!" (performed by Jim Martin) and as a man who sets his pants on fire in "Top Ten Reasons to Take a Break" (performed by Joey Mazzarino).
