The Gap, Inc. is an American clothing retailer based out of San Fransico, California that was founded in 1969. Aside from the GAP brand stores, the company also owns and operates Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, and Athleta.

In 2025, GAP launched a line of Muppet T-shirts and sweatshirts.
