Facebook is a social networking service used by over a billion people worldwide. Companies associated with Muppet characters maintain several accounts for their franchises, often using them to distribute original content.

Official pages

Sesame Street

Official character accounts are denoted either by Facebook's "Verified" status, or their inclusion on Sesame Street's list of "Liked" pages.

Sometime around 2009,[1] the Sesame Street Facebook page hosted an app called the Feel-O-Matic. The interactive feature enabled visitors to share their feelings with help from 24 Sesame Street characters in short video clips that had been shot exclusively for the app. Nine characters were available from the beginning, with the remaining 15 characters to be unlocked through sharing the app with friends.
