Evan Bates (b. 1989) is an ice dancer who made his Olympic Games debut in 2010. He has won several medals, both in team events and with his wife and skating partner Madison Chock.

During the 2026 Winter Games, Bates and Chock appeared in multiple videos with Elmo (Facebook, Facebook). The pair were later interviewed by Grover and Cookie Monster. (Facebook)
