SCENE 1 | Maria, Luis, and Olivia follow a strange noise to Oscar's trash can, where inside Oscar and his Grouch pals are chopping up his piano to use as firewood. Mr. Hooper comes by to drop off marshmallows, but realizes how dangerous it can be to light a fire inside a trash can. When they see smoke arising from the can everyone rushes around, with Maria and Luis dousing the fire with buckets of water. Oscar is angry at first, but realizes how much better it is having a soggy campfire. He and the Grouches start singing a campfire song to themselves. |
