SCENE 1 | Mr. Hooper, dressed in a suit, finishes checking his overnight bag while at his store. Big Bird wonders where he’s going and wants to learn in the form of a game, so Mr. Hooper gives him clues: it’s got beds, it’s a place where tests are taken, it's where he’ll find out about his health, and most of the people there dress in white clothes. Susan says he’s going with him to the hospital for a checkup, which confuses Big Bird since he believes that the hospital is where people either go to be born or when they're very sick. Mr. Hooper explains that he is going for a checkup and says that it's important for a person his age to see how well they are doing. After Mr. Hooper and David give some final advice to each other, Mr. Hooper leaves with Susan. |
