"Eight Little Notes" is a song about Beethoven sung by Rowlf (with the Bust of Beethoven joining in) in episode 312 of The Muppet Show.
The song was originally written to be performed by Schroeder in the Peanuts musical Snoopy!!! The Musical, but was cut along with the character. Composer Larry Grossman later brought the song to The Muppet Show in his capacity as music consultant.[1]
It would later appear in the live stage show The Muppet Show On Tour, and on Rowlf's 1993 album Ol' Brown Ears is Back.
